Greetings!
If you are reading this you now know that our estimated date of departure for the Azores is now Wednesday, June 6th. We will keep checking the weather between now and then as well as check in with our weather router again, but if nothing changes and we have checked our list twice (or three times!) we will finally be on our way! We will be heading northeast toward Bermuda and on to the Azores. Our path will definitely not be a straight one as the weather will definitely have an impact on our route as we will try real hard to avoid any bad weather.
Take care and as mentioned will stay in touch during the crossing on this blog. Please note that UTC time is the same as Greenwich Mean Time (or Zulu Time)
Our best wishes to you all!
Bob & Janice (and Sailor too)

ReplyDeleteSafe journey! No worry about picts along the way, you have provided us with more sunrises and sunsets that one usually sees in a lifetime, so we are all set! :- ) Just finished a short novel about sailing on some open water and all the time the heroine had to just sit back, relax and read. I hope everything will be so tranquil for you AND that you have lots of good reading material on your reading device. hugs to you both, kay
