Greetings!
We have changed back to this blog temporarily again so we can update you while we are making the crossing from the Azores to the mainland. We are hoping to make the crossing in 7 days if the weather cooperates! We were originally planning on going to Lisbon, however, we have now decided to head to Porto. The actual marina that we will be going to is across the river from Porto in the town of Gaia. We know people that were just at this marina and as it is a new marina the reports are excellent!
We will try hard to make a posting to this blog site daily so you will know where we are located and how it is going. We will not be able to post photos but as always will add those when we get to the mainland and have regular wi-fi again.
We will also try to call in to report our position daily to have it reported on shiptrak so you can check there as well. The site is www.shiptrak.org and you will need to enter our call sign of KC2TIU in order to find out what we have reported.
Take care & will update you as promptly as we can (hopefully daily) but don't worry if you don't hear from us each day!
